Under the guidance of the Child Development Center (CDC)-2 Lead, the Child Development Center (CDC) 2- Teacher collaborates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in the Early Childhood Care and Education Services (ECCES) as prescribed by the National Association of the Education of Young Children. The CDC 2- Teacher shares the responsibility with the CDC 2-Lead to set up the physical (indoor and outdoor) environment to meet changing needs, maintains a safe, clean, and pleasant environment, models and instructs other adults in best practice, and provides information to parents regarding their children as well as general child development information.
