Research programs span hematopoiesis, neurodegenerative disease, immuno-oncology, cancer biology, cardio-oncology, aging, and genetic disorders, leveraging advanced technologies including single-cell genomics, organoids and 3D disease models, gene editing, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), systems biology, and high-resolution imaging. The Department of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at City of Hope brings together investigators across diverse disciplines who are united by a common mission: to uncover the biological mechanisms that govern stem cell function, tissue regeneration, aging, and cancer, and to translate these discoveries into innovative therapies for patients.
