SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide direct patient care services, including performing physical assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing and implementing treatment plans in their respective specialty area(s). QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs essential functions of assessment, diagnosing, treatment, and management of patients in assigned setting, including accurate and timely documentation, intake assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning, as appropriate.
