Duties: Care for diabetic, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure and dialysis patients plus post-surgical overflow, amputations, debridements, wound care, DVTs and ETOH; manage Lasix, Bumex and heparin; CPAP on days and BiPAP at night; telemetry is monitored on another unit and nurses are not required to read strips. Experience: 1 year with at least one travel assignment, and 2 years in specialty; must come from a comparably high-acuity, high-turnover hospital - no critical access background.
