Responsibilities include: • Assist Automotive Technicians and Service Advisors with parts requests• Assist retail and wholesale customers with automotive parts needs• Look up and identify OEM automotive parts using electronic parts catalogs• Provide accurate parts pricing and availability• Order automotive parts and accessories• Pull and distribute parts for Service Technicians• Process parts invoices, returns, exchanges, and special orders• Receive incoming parts shipments• Stock and organize automotive parts inventory• Maintain accurate inventory records• Monitor special-order parts and backorders• Follow up on parts orders as necessary• Assist with shipping and receiving• Maintain proper parts bin locations• Help perform inventory counts and inventory-control procedures• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding parts availability and repair needs• Communicate with technicians to ensure correct parts are supplied for repairs• Assist wholesale automotive parts customers• Provide professional customer service by phone, in person, and electronically• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department.
