This position requires familiarity with building control systems including Alerton and Talon/Invensys, and a good understanding of chillers and chill water systems, chemical treatment and water softeners, as well as experience working with overhead doors, fire doors, dock equipment, rail dock equipment, toilets, urinals, drain cleaning, tracing the origin of roof leaks, and temporary repairs. The Maintenance Technician - Building is responsible for repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, refrigeration systems on walk-in coolers, icemakers, and air dryers for air compressors, air compressors, vacuum pumps, electric motors, belt drives and mechanical couplings.
