Ability to read and interpret proposals for Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) or Building Automation Systems (BAS) Install low voltage wiring, conduit, controllers, and sensors for control systems Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications Request and manage materials and equipment for assigned project Ensure adherence to job specific specs as well as state and local codes Assist with HVAC equipment startups and troubleshooting Test systems after installation to ensure a quality install and setup for inspection Ensure wire sizes, supports, and controllers are correct for the application. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED Willingness to learn wiring and controls concepts and processes Basic math and measuring skills Ability to use hand tools safely Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
