Performs maintenance, calibration, and repair of various equipment which may include fixed/portable gas monitoring systems, emergency lighting and air movement/ventilation equipment, various gas detection monitors, gas detection systems and docking stations, hand-held and confined space radio communication equipment (2-way radios). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
