Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Exposed to dirt, dust, odors, fumes, electricity, variable temperatures and weather conditions, heights and potentially dangerous equipment (e.g., air handlers); requires moderate physical effort to include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds (e.g., spools of cable), climbing, and extended periods of bending, standing, and stooping; may work varied hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays; may be called to work in emergency situations; requires on- and off-campus travel. Additional Basic Function - if applicable: Examples of Duties: Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: Install, program, monitor, and maintain Direct Digital Control System components to include sensors, transducers, controllers, and network devices in campus buildings; troubleshoots system, identifies problems, and implements changes to system; adds, modifies and deletes computer programs for all energy management systems.
