Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers, air flow dampers, V-belts, sheaves, pulleys, bearings, and related equipment; Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems, including commercial refrigeration and chilled water systems; Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control systems, including sensors, actuators, relays, timers, meters, and switches; Fabricate, install, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic temperature and humidity control systems for HVAC operations; Operate, monitor, and adjust automated building control systems, including DCM Automated Logic Control System, to maintain building environmental conditions; Use fluid and electronic testing and measuring instruments such as manometers, flow meters, voltmeters, ammeters, and potentiometers to diagnose system performance; Operate hand and power tools and fabrication equipment, including welding, soldering, drill presses, grinders, and bandsaws, to complete repairs and installations; Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to support installation, repair, and maintenance work; develop preliminary cost estimates for HVAC installations and repairs; Drive service vehicles as required, and load, unload, and transport materials and supplies; May participate in a rotating standby schedule; assist and coordinate work with other trades personnel; and.
