ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Monitors and guides students in assigned areas• Guides activities such as eating, playing and use of restrooms• Monitors the use of playground equipment and playactivities• Assists and maintains a pleasant environment• Reports cases of unusual student behavior or otherpotential problems to the classroom teacher and/oradministrator• Assumes responsibility for the safety of children• Observes and reports safety hazards• Prevents children from engaging in unsafe activities• Operates a two-way radio as needed.
