The selected applicant for this position executes assignments for the installation operation and maintenance of the voice data video and software related to all MassDOT communication, electronic, and Intelligent Traffic System ITS, including but not limited to two-way radio, fiber optic telephone, private branch exchange, programmable controllers, tunnel ventilation, carbon monoxide, and hydrocarbon gas monitoring, local field controllers, remote terminal units, overhead and portable variable message signs, emergency telephone, automatic gates, highway advisory radio, traffic, and security video security access control, integrated project control, system real-time traffic monitoring, and ancillary electronic equipment. Install voice data and video infrastructure for all MassDOT facilities, Highway Operations Centers, Registry of Motor Vehicles, State Transportation Building, District Headquarters, drawbridges, maintenance depots, State Police barracks, ventilation buildings, etc.
