p>As a Clinical Nurse II on the 7 HV Cardiac Medicine Unit, you will: • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac conditions • Assess, monitor, and manage patient status, including cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and response to treatment • Care for patients pre- and post-cardiac and vascular procedures, as well as those admitted for medical cardiac conditions • Administer medications and treatments safely, including cardiac drips and therapies, in accordance with policies and protocols • Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized plans of care • Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, lifestyle modifications, and discharge planning • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to peers, contributing to unit-based education and quality initiatives.
