Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neuro Med/Surg – Tennessee Start Date: November 16, 2026 Location: Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule; 6:1 patient ratio Highlights: - 20-bed Neuro Med/Surg unit with dedicated tech support on day and night shifts, plus unit secretary coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM- Work with advanced equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and iMobile communication technology- Facility holds multiple certifications: Comprehensive Stroke Center, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center- Meditech electronic documentation system- Supportive team environment focused on attentive, compassionate patient care with bedside shift reporting- Perform essential nursing skills including IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes Requirements: - Active RN license- Current BLS certification- Med/Surg experience required- Strong ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively- Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized neuro med/surg environment within a facility recognized for excellence in stroke, trauma, and cardiac care.
