Clinical skills include pacemaker management, feeding tube care, blood product administration, central line and peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care, intravenous access, heparin protocols, and surgical drain management. Additional responsibilities include isolation precautions, wound care and wound vacuum management, chest tube care, patient-controlled analgesia, thrombolytic agents, and management of cardiac and vasoactive infusions without titration.
