2 Yr Exp UNIT DOES NOT ACCEPT FIRST TIME TRAVELER Floating required to like units - travelers must be flexible to floating Every other weekend required Experience: Must have surgical tele experience, open heart surgery and vascular, ( groin)radial band management, IV skills, NIH 2-3 years telemetry experience; optional- VAD, TAVR experience) Certs Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Surgical Cardiac Telemetry Unit, myocardial infarction, rule out MI, Primary arrhythmias, pre/post open-heart surgery patients, vascular surgery patients, coronary artery disease, heart failure, pre/post cath lab with or without interventions, stroke patients with cardiac involvement; specialized structural heart support ( VAD, TVAR, etc) NOTE: N:P ratio is 1:4 across the board (can be 5 at midnight) Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPap, Trach Care Blood/Blood Products Administration Cardioversion / Defibrillation, Epicardial Pacer Management LVAD, Open Heart 24-28 hours Post-Op Tele Interpretation - Dysrhythmia Interpretation and management Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.
