The cancer service line is Commission on Cancer Certified by the American College of Surgeons as a community program offering infusion services, dietician services, social work, patient navigation, on-site pharmacy services, specialty pharmacy services, cancer rehabilitation services, breast/lung/general tumor boards, multidisciplinary thoracic and general surgery (breast surgeon) clinics, genetic counseling services, on-site PET scan services, radiation therapy and a robust clinical trials program. Baptist Health Hardin Hospital opened a new 47,000 sq ft cancer center in fall 2024that provides all cancer treatment services into one location attached to the main hospital (separate entrance) and adjacent to a medical office pavilion.
