What You’ll Do: Travel to customers to perform high-quality minor automotive reconditioning activities such as paint touch-ups to full surface repairs using advanced spray equipment and proven techniques . Additionally requires: climbing, balancing, crouching, feeling, grasping, handling, hearing voices and distinguishing among sounds, kneeling, lifting, manual dexterity, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, stooping, expressing ideas by the spoken word, visual acuity in data/color/observations/operating equipment/inspect defects or measurements, and walking. Installs, cleans, maintains and replaces residential and commercial meters and radio read devices; investigates malfunctions; gains access to meters; replaces defective parts such as couplings, washers, and meter boxes; repairs meters and leaks; and performs routine maintenance.
Additionally requires: balancing, climbing, crouching, feeling, grasping, handling, hearing voices and distinguishing among sounds, kneeling, lifting, manual dexterity, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, stooping, expressing ideas by the spoken word and shouting to be heard above ambient noise, visual acuity in data/color/observations/operating equipment/inspect defects or measurements, and walking. Work is performed outdoors where essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, unsafe structures, confined spaces, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, bright/dim lights, toxic agents, water hazards, disease, or rude/irate customers.
