Must be able to read and interpret a variety of complex engineering design drawings; satisfactorily complete complex engineering calculations; have complete knowledge and use of measuring instruments such as scales, protractors and calipers; interpret very detailed descriptions and instructions for making appropriate tools; and have complete knowledge and experience using a variety of shop tools such as lathes, mills, planners, band saws, table saws, belt & disk sanders, grinders, drill press, hydraulic press, shear and brake, and hand tools such as rollers, paper cutters, scissors, x-acto knives, electric heat gun and fixtures such as mold and mandrels. This position requires working in a loud manufacturing environment with a variety of epoxy agents, this position lays out, fabricates and assembles complex metalworking dies, molds, composite, and machine tool fixtures by analyzing blueprints, sketches, engineering designs/drawings, models, tool orders, manufacturing service requests, engineering or shop specifications, and verbal descriptions.
