Performs rough carpentry to construct wall framing, floor systems, roof decking and systems, and to install trusses: performs finish carpentry and woodworking to construct cabinets, work stations, ramps, and decks, and to install counter tops, doors, windows, baseboards, and moldings; determines materials needed to complete projects: provides cost projections as requested; gathers equipment, tools, parts, and supplies; monitors inventory levels; and orders new or replacement materials, equipment as required. Essential Functions Performs skilled and highly skilled trades work in the maintenance, repair, and/or renovation of county buildings and facilities and related mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment: ensures environmentally safe working and business conditions in buildings and facilities; may design and draw project plans for work to be completed; and reads blueprints or other design drawings to determine work to be performed.
