It is the duty and responsibility of the Harm Reduction Trainer to: · provide various community and OHL client naloxone trainings to community based organizations; · inform community members on naloxone use and access through community outreach events; · conduct street outreach, outreach events, trainings at OHL, trainings at partner agencies, as directed by Program Manager; · conduct data entry and gathering as directed by Program Manager; · works with the harm reduction lead trainer; · maintain comprehensive documentation of all activities for data collection; · responsible for administrative tasks as directed by Program Manager; · responsible for training preparation and facilitation . The Harm Reduction Trainer is responsible for the delivery of harm reduction/overdose prevention training programs to community partners and organizations in New Orleans, Lake Charles and Bayou Vista areas, conducting street outreach, referring individuals to OHL services or other appropriate community resources, and representing the Prevention Program at community outreach, as determined by the Project Manager.
