Gaylord is located in south central Minnesota about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is the "Hub of Sibley County." Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY:   The purpose of this position is to provide and coordinate On-The-Job Training to employees in the operation of plant and/or department equipment, Standard Work Instructions, and to assist in the developing and delivery of other training, i.e. orientation, quality assurance, safety, problem solving, and continuous improvement training. Shift:5:30am - 2:00pm but could work some days until 4:00pm Monday-Friday and some Saturday's depending on business need. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li style="margin:0in 0in 0.25pt 0.25in">Primary responsibility will be to oversee quality standards are met at time of shipping as required by our customers.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0.25pt 0.25in">Manage customer deduction spread sheet for warehouse damage or issues.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0.25pt 0.25in">Oversee and implement the Employee Training Qualification Program for employees. This includes training and validation of trainees with respect to their performance against established training objectives and recommendation of additional skill requirements as needed.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0.25pt 0.25in">Assist in developing Standard Work Instructions, checklists, and visual aids.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0.25pt 0.25in">Conduct cross training and re-qualification as required by the Training Qualification Program. Support employees who have questions or need additional assistance in understanding their job responsibilities.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0.25pt 0.25in">Maintain files of training materials. EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED: <ul><li style="margin:0in 0in 0.25pt 0.25in">High school diploma and applicable technical knowledge required.
