DUTIES: Maintains responsibility for growth and development of twenty plus Youth Development Specialists and Youth Development Workers in day-to-day direct supervision, such as conducting performance evaluations and maintaining progressive discipline, and positive engagement of youth including, but not limited to, initial training, monitoring training hours, ensuring ongoing training and feedback, performing observational codings and directing team building activities. PERSONAL WORK RELATIONSHIP: Incumbent maintains communication with co-workers, other County departments, schools, Probation Officers, related social agencies, and the public for purposes of exchanging and explaining information and coordinating client services and activities.
