May serve as liaison, as directed by the Sheriff or designated representative, with county departments, the Commissioners Court, and other external agencies to address law enforcement operational issues, coordinate special projects, and support initiatives affecting law enforcement operations and funding. Conducts special reviews and compliance assessments, as directed by the Sheriff or designated representative, to ensure department's operations and grants administration comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and funding requirements.
