This role leads a fully remote national training team while remaining deeply embedded in the field — partnering with brand leaders, understanding operational realities, and ensuring training solutions are relevant, practical, and scalable.​This is a highly hands-on leadership role. By embedding yourself within our brands and developing strong relationships with field leaders, you'll ensure training content is grounded in reality and produces sustainable behavior change — not just knowledge transfer.​You will also build, coach, and inspire a high-performing remote training team, setting expectations for excellence, accountability, and innovation while modeling a strong learner-first mindset.​Key Responsibilities​Strategic Learning & Organizational Development​<ul><li>Develop and execute a multi-year learning and development strategy aligned to Guild's business goals, growth plans, and cultural priorities​</li><li>Design scalable leadership development pathways for frontline leaders, general managers, and corporate leaders​</li><li>Partner with executive leadership to identify capability gaps and prioritize enterprise-wide development initiatives​</li><li>Establish clear learning standards, governance models, and operating rhythms across brands</li></ul>Program Design, Facilitation, and Execution​<ul><li>Lead the design and implementation of high-impact learning programs including onboarding, sales training, leadership development, operational excellence, and technical capacity building​</li><li>Personally facilitate and co-facilitate training sessions modeling best-in-class learning practices​</li><li>Ensure all learning experiences are engaging, learner-centered, operationally relevant, and outcome-driven​</li><li>Oversee curriculum development, instructional design quality, and content lifecycle management​</li></ul>Field Immersion & Brand Partnership​<ul><li>Travel approximately twice per month to partner with brand leadership teams, observe operations, and build trust with field teams​</li><li>Embed into brand cultures to ensure training solutions reflect real-world workflows, constraints, and opportunities​</li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor to operators and leaders on talent development, performance improvement, and change adoption​</li><li>Continuously capture insights from the field to refine content, delivery models, and learning strategy​</li></ul>Team Leadership & Operations​<ul><li>Lead, develop, and scale a fully remote national training team including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development​</li><li>Establish team operating cadence, project management standards, and execution discipline​</li><li>Manage training budgets, vendor relationships, and external partnerships​</li><li>Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement​</li></ul>Technology, Systems & Data​<ul><li>Own the strategy and administration of learning technology platforms including LMS and digital learning tools​</li><li>Ensure content accessibility, adoption, reporting accuracy, and data integrity across systems​</li><li>Leverage analytics to measure training effectiveness, adoption, ROI, and performance impact​</li><li>Build dashboards and reporting rhythms that communicate learning value to executive leadership​</li><li>Own and prepare a monthly "scorecard" for training impact across the organization​</li></ul>Performance Management & Continuous Improvement​<ul><li>Define and track key learning KPIs including training adoption, completion rates, retention impact, operational performance improvement, and ROI​</li><li>Conduct needs analysis and skills gap assessments to guide program prioritization​</li><li>Continuously refine programs based on data, learner feedback, and business outcomes</li></ul>What you bring to the table​<ul><li>Proven ability to build and scale high-performing training organizations in distributed environments​</li><li>Deep expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design, facilitation, and blended learning delivery​</li><li>Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, align, and communicate across all levels of the organization​</li><li>Highly analytical mindset with experience using data to drive prioritization and investment decisions​</li><li>Strong operational discipline with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at scale​</li><li>Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-growth environments​</li><li>Passion for building culture, developing people, and driving measurable business impact​</li><li>Willingness to travel regularly to stay embedded in the field​</li></ul>Qualifications​<ul><li>10+ years of progressive experience in Training, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or related leadership roles​</li><li>Demonstrated experience building and facilitating engaging training programs for distributed and frontline workforces​</li><li>Proven experience leading and developing teams in remote environments​</li><li>Strong experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital learning platforms, and content governance​</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives​</li><li>Bachelor's degree required;
