We are looking for individuals with PA construction management and inspection experience.We're open to candidates with varying levels of experience - Inspectors, Trainees, Senior Inspectors to join our team in Harrisburg, PA and surrounding areas!Duties:<ul><li>Perform transportation construction inspections on Highway, Bridges, Environmental, Traffic, and Facilities type projects</li><li>Write daily progress reports</li><li>Oversight of contractor work crews to ensure compliance with contract documents, reading and interpretation of contract documents to verify that safe construction practices are being utilized to produce quality results</li><li>Perform field test on materials (concrete slump/air, soil compaction, and HMA)</li><li>Complete documentation of materials, labor compliance, safety, processing estimates, work orders, and adjustments</li><li>Report on-site activities and daily progress to the Project Engineer via standardized reporting, responsible for calculation and determination of pay quantities</li></ul>Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>Recent graduates with Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or other related degrees will be considered. 4+ years of heavy highway experience or 2+ years of transportation construction inspection experience will also be considered.</li><li>2+ years' experience in construction, civil engineering, project management, or materials inspection</li><li>Knowledgeable in PennDOT Road & Bridges specifications and standards</li><li>Knowledge of mathematics to include algebra, geometry and trigonometry</li><li>Skill in the use of field engineering and testing equipment, inspection methods and materials</li><li>Possession of or ability to obtain required certifications within 12 months of employment and maintain

Quality Engineering Solutions, Inc. (QES) is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor 1(TCIS-1) to join our team. Responsibilities and Duties: • Supervise and perform technical inspections to ensure that contractors build a quality construction project. The TCIS-1 will monitor and document that roadway, highway, and bridge projects are constructed in accordance with the pertinent plans and specifications. • Quality assurance monitoring for materials testing, including but not limited to soils, concrete, aggregates, and bituminous products. • Comply with PennDOT and/or Client and project-specific overtime requirements. • Meet with the Clients Project Engineer/ Manager/ Supervisor or Consultant Manager/ Supervisor daily, or as required, to receive instructions and assignments. • Complete project documentation requirements: daily progress reports, periodic cost estimates, project work activities including records of labor, material, quantities, and equipment used. • Perform periodic highway occupancy permit compliance and erosion and sedimentation controls compliance. • Request from Manager/Supervisor assistance for any instruction or assignment in the inspection of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with contract requirements and established standards. Required Qualifications: • 1 year PennDOT TCI-3+ experience with PennDOT Concrete, NECEPT Field, and NICET II+ certifications. • OR 1 year PennDOT TCI-3+ experience with NICET III+ and either PennDOT Concrete or NECEPT Field certification. • OR 4 years PennDOT TCI-3+ experience with two of the following: PennDOT Concrete, NECEPT Field, or NICET II+ certifications. • OR 5 years inspection experience with PennDOT Concrete, NECEPT Field, and NICET III (or NICET IV alone). • OR 6 years inspection supervision/management experience acceptable to PennDOT. • OR Active Professional Engineer’s (PE) License. • OR 1 year in a higher classification (Degree substitutions: BS = 4 years experience; Associate’s = 2 years). The Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager oversees inventory control, shipping and receiving, equipment readiness, and team performance while partnering closely with operations, sales, and customer stakeholders to meet delivery commitments. This position has direct responsibility for warehouse supervisors and material handling teams.
