Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3rd 12 hour nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience License: Current state Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or equivalent Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment - Experience with CADD pumps, including epidural and nerve block pumps Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. Skills in de-escalation and dealing with traumatic injuries such as gunshot wounds, traumatic brain injuries, car accidents, and stabbings are essential.
