Floating to other units can happen at times, RN s work on both sides of the floor (med-tele & IMC), must have experience with trachs, vents, high-flow NC, Cardiac drips, BiPaP, & telemetry. Cases seen: PNA, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, ETOH withdrawal, GIB, Sepsis, PE, UTI, Respiratory failure.
