p>Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Administer high frequency sound waves to a patient to obtain diagnostic exams as ordered by the physician and - consistent with all applicable legal requirements and restrictions- exercise individual thought, judgment and discretion in the performance of the procedure within their scope of practice as defined by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, American Society Radiologic Technologists, and Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Will be responsible for verifying order, charging procedures, working knowledge of PACS system, transport of patients with all necessary paperwork completion.
