QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Required: Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program that is accreditedPreferred: Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Experience: Preferred: At least two years of ultrasound with six months in an on-site apprenticeship with a Vascular Laboratory Other Skills/Knowledge:Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital teamLICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) as appropriate or registry eligible.
