The Service currently has wards and equipment to accommodate small mammal, avian, reptile, amphibian and aquatic patients, a full complement of diagnostics services including in-house clinical pathology, digital radiology, ultrasonography, computed tomography, and endoscopy, use of dedicated surgical and dental equipment and sterile surgical suites, along with an on-site pharmacy. In addition, the hospital is designed to support collaborative, multidisciplinary care and currently includes specialty services such as diagnostic imaging (GE CT and 3T MRI), dentistry and oral surgery, primary care, ophthalmology, cardiology, and emergency and critical care, with anesthesia, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology, and surgery to follow.
