The hired individual will be responsible for the following duties: Under the supervision of the Senior Associate, develop technical solutions and product strategies, including draft architectural designs and build architectural models; Apply design theories and principles and use computer-assisted design software (such as CAD) to analyze and optimize design drawings, drafts, and plans; Operate computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce architectural designs, working drawings, charts, forms, and records; Assist principal designers with schematic design, concept development, planning, interior design, digital design, fabrication, construction documents, sustainability reports, and feasibility studies; Collaborate with structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to review, align, and incorporate their design models into accurate and comprehensive architectural drawings. Participate in client meetings to discuss, note, and analyze project objectives, key design concepts, and functional goals; review short- and long-term goals and milestones for each project; Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in architecture or another closely related field; 3 years of work experience as an architectural designer preparing construction documents using computer-aided design tools; Proficiency in CAD software including Autodesk Revit and Autodesk AutoCAD.
