To research, analyze, and develop critical water resources data for CAP strategic planning activities and CAP resource policies; to implement CAP policies and strategies as required; to support other CAP departments and management in data acquisition and analysis; and to represent CAP before local, state, interstate, regulatory and federal agencies and water providers as required. Provides analytical support to staff and management on water resource issues, which may include supply and demand, delivery, recharge, recovery, water resource and infrastructure development, reuse, groundwater availability and costs, augmentation, population projections, demographic and economic statistics, regulatory compliance and modeling.
