Clinic duties include, but are not limited to greeting patients, gathering and reporting significant history, securing physician-ordered intervention, placing orders and referrals, preparing patients for injections, casting and cast removal, splinting, durable medical equipment and brace fitting, and coordination of patients through the system. The Medical Assistant will triage patient phone calls, assist in refill process for patient prescriptions, provide patients instructions regarding follow up care and assist in maintaining clinic inventory.
