Engages with customers, bags and transports groceries, locates products and conducts price verifications. Performs various customer service duties while maintaining a safe and sanitary shopping environment. <h5>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </h5><ul><li>Ensures groceries are bagged properly by putting like items together, limiting bag weight, preventing food cross-contamination, and ensuring customer receipt of all purchased items. </li><li>Collects shopping carts and stores them in the cart corral. Keeps parking lot free of trash and debris; communicates with management any incidents, actions, or concerns occurring on store premises. </li><li>Ensures front-end racks, drink coolers and cleaning supply stations are stocked, cleaned, and presentable. </li><li>Promotes product sales through active customer engagement. </li><li>Takes precaution when handling objects to avoid damage to products, property, etc. </li><li>Follows Company guidelines by cleaning breakroom/restroom and facing product to ensure proper store conditions. </li><li>Maintains friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and bagging and transporting groceries into customers' vehicles. </li><li>Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures. We use best-in-class ticket and claims management systems to ensure clear and complete mark-out services for the excavator or property owner at the work site.Your Responsibilities as a Locator:<ul><li>Use locating equipment to determine the location of gas lines in a designated area and mark the area with paint and flags to prevent damage to utility infrastructure. Some hand digging to unearth gas lines may be required.</li><li>Develop knowledge and understanding of underground utility infrastructure.</li><li>Follow all company, client, state, and federal damage prevention guidelines.</li><li>As a technician in our Advanced Gas Operations division, you may locate other utilities in addition to gas lines, depending upon the project to which you are assigned.</li></ul>These are daytime, full-time positions. We have a 48-hour turnaround time on many locates, which means we generally work the day after holidays and some weekends, as needed. Previous outdoor experience is a plus.</li><li>Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.</li><li>Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected.</li><li>Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position).</li><li>Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record</li><li>Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.</li><li>Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.</li><li>Computer proficiency</li><li>Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, as well as maps and prints; possess basic math skill to calculate distances.</li><li>Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
