Performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the construction and/or maintenance of a variety of utility projects, including concrete work, water/sewer facility work, streets and drainage work, asphalt work, right of way and grounds maintenance, street signs, traffic signals, etc. Operates a variety of heavy equipment engaged in municipal maintenance, repair, and construction activities, which may include a motor grader, front-end loader, roller, track-type equipment, tractor, backhoe, dump truck, jet truck, street sweeper, and refuse collection equipment.
