Key Responsibilities: • Hire, lead, and manage a dynamic team to create an inclusive and collaborative work environment • Monitor, evaluate, and provide regular feedback on employee growth and implementing improvement as needed • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives to maintain a motivated workforce - positively represent corporate communications to influence outcomes that support business strategies • Ensure compliance with Allison Policies and manage employee relations matters as needed • Participates in the selection, training, and development of new employees • Manages personnel, material, and equipment safely and effectively • Responsible for training, performance management, coaching, disciplinary, timekeeping/payroll, resource management, and overtime management for employees in assigned area • Meets production cost, schedules, and quality requirements through the utilization of established manufacturing processes and methods • Facilitates floor operations and removes barriers for supervisors and hourly employees to meet measurable objectives • Implements and maintains Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) • Operator Autonomous Maintenance execution, follow up and improvement • Engagement on machine condition continuous improvement • Lead OEE improvement across all areas • Serve as a leader, trainer, and coach of lean and TPM principles • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization • Complies with the terms of the labor agreement • Senior supervisors may have additional duties including: • Involvement in the training and onboarding of new supervisor hires in the plant • May interact with internal & external stakeholders as needed • Provide coverage across the plant in event that another supervisor is on PTO or leave. Qualifications: • Required: Associate Degree and/or equivalent experience required • Experience: Required: 1+ years prior Supervisory experience • Preferred: 5+ years prior Supervisory experience.
