Knowledge of the principles, operation, construction, and repair of gasoline and diesel engines, brake and suspension systems, transmission systems, air conditioning systems, wheelchair lifts, computer control engines, electronic destination signs, fire suppression systems, video surveillance systems, automated vehicle location systems, multiplex electrical systems, automatic passenger counting systems, diesel exhaust after treatment systems and federal commercial driver's license regulations. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, training and supervising employees, assigning work, processing work orders, maintaining parts inventory, repairing fleet vehicles and equipment, processing warranty claims, researching fleet defects, assisting the Administrator with daily operations of Fleet Management, and performing additional tasks as assigned.
