Volunteers: Collaborate with LEARN Works instructor partner in establishing a relationship with volunteers assigned to classroom, effectively use volunteers assigned to your classroom by incorporating them in your whole group instruction and placing them with small groups or pairs of students as appropriate, guide the work of volunteers by providing them with direction and encourage input during daily briefings and debriefings, monitor relationships between volunteers and students, and provide supervision of volunteers and feedback to volunteers. Parents: Collaborate with LEARN Works instructor partner in establishing a relationship with each parent, in communicating regularly with parents via phone calls, email, in-person, or the childcare management software.
