p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires the ability sit or stand for long periods of time; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk frequently, lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds; perform simple and power grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation; verbal and hearing skills to effectively communicate with children and other staff; visual acuity is also required for observation. The incumbent will take the leadership role in customer service and emergency situations; oversee and motivate the Lifeguards on duty and must be ready to contribute to the departments mission to DELIVER AWESOME in the amazing work we do in Parks & Recreation as leaders of play and builders of community!
