Seasonal Marketing Coordinator - Distinctive ResortsAs a Seasonal Marketing Coordinator, you'll support our marketing team that oversees 3 local hotels and a golf course. This is an on-site, part-time, seasonal position that will last through mid-January 2026 with potential to extend longer. This entry-level role is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hospitality marketing. You will contribute to real business initiatives, build your portfolio, be a part of a high-performing team, collaborate with different departments and properties, and grow your skills working in a fast-paced environment. To be considered for this role, you are required to prepare examples of past work and a resume of relevant experience.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Administrative Support and Projects<ul><li>Assist in the coordination of marketing campaigns and events</li><li>Manage asset libraries and content calendars</li><li>Learn and update Google Business Accounts</li><li>Collaborate with 3rd party websites</li><li>Perform all other tasks as assigned by manager</li></ul></li><li>Graphic Design<ul><li>Design digital and print assets, including:<ul><li>Digital - social media graphics</li><li>Print - flyers, signage, menus, etc</li></ul></li><li>Support branding consistency across all visual materials</li><li>Work within established brand guidelines while also bringing fresh creative ideas</li><li>Coordinating projects with the marketing/sales departments</li></ul></li><li>Photography, Videography, and Content Creation<ul><li>Create short-form video content and assist in video editing ie. room tours, Chef feature, event recaps, etc</li><li>Draft engaging captions, blog articles, and website content</li><li>Participate in brainstorming, planning, and creating for social media campaigns</li><li>Execute photo and video shoots following a creative brief</li></ul></li></ul>What We're Looking For:<ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field</li><li>Demonstrated ability to organize and juggle multiple projects at one time.</li><li>Skilled on Canva, Social Media platforms, and CapCut</li><li>Strong writing and communication skills</li><li>Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks</li><li>A creative thinker who's passionate about visual and written storytelling</li><li>Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees</li><li>Ability to work in stressful situations and quick deadlines</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>1-2 years related experience (experience can be educational, voluntary, or personal)</li><li>Onsite 20-30hrs weekly (fully remote work not available)<ul><li>Minimum 6 month term through mid-January 2026</li><li>Must be able to work during summer and winter breaks</li><li>Occasional holidays, weekends, and evenings to capture video and photos of specific events and initiatives</li></ul></li><li>Must be able to travel/drive between 3 properties in Pismo Beach and Avila Beach; Must have reliable vehicle transportation to travel between properties</li></ul>Application:<ul><li>Resume of relevant experience</li><li>Must provide 2-3 examples of your work from a school project, volunteer work, or past job. Examples can be:<ul><li>Graphics you've designed - poster, flyer, event invitation, etc</li><li>Professional reel for IG or TikTok for a specific project </li><li>Writing examples - blog posts, articles, etc</li></ul></li></ul>
