TEACHING AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Applicants should be able to teach any or all of the courses listed below: WELL 175 - Wellness: This course offers a comprehensive discussion of the dimensions of wellness including such topics as physical fitness, nutrition, psychological well-being, time- and stress-management, STI prevention, sexual violence risk reduction, active bystander interventions, addictive behaviors related to alcohol and other drugs, cultural responsiveness, as well as chronic diseases. Using a number of case studies and selected readings, the course will include the following topics: organization, accountability, financial planning, purchasing, revenue streams, sponsorship, licensing, franchises, box office operations, retail operations, customer retention, fundraising, grant writing, booster clubs, working with volunteers, financial risk management and payroll procedures.
