Required for Health Care Ancillaries (Medical assisting, hospice worker, home care aide, certified nurse aide, health aide, ward clerk, central service technology, childbirth educator, primary care associate, massage therapy: Bachelors degree or higher AND two years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in the discipline; OR an Associates degree; AND six years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in the discipline; OR the equivalent; OR a fully satisfied (Life) California Community College Instructors Credential in Health and Physical Care Services and Related Technologies. Current industry experience relevant to the discipline: one year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience as a licensed nurse providing direct patient care in a long-term facility AND one year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs in Nursing*; OR two years of full-time experience as a licensed nurse, in which one year must have been in the provision of direct patient care in a nursing facility.
