Responsibilities:Climbs on and off truck body during loading, unloading, and tie-down proceduresMaintains truck log according to state and federal regulations (including I.C.C. Regulations)Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and waterCompletes pre-trip and post-trip truck inspection reportsService and lubricate engine and other moving parts if neededMaintains accurate records on truck lubrication, service, and repairsFollow truck maintenance scheduleWork harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times. This role includes maintaining proper drum rotation to prevent concrete setting or segregation, positioning the truck for safe and efficient concrete discharge, and achieving and monitoring slump consistency and overall load quality throughout delivery.
