Handle supplies, materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more* Conducts physical inventory of supplies, materials, tools and equipment* Complies with all maintenance procedures and instructions including; safety, quality, and environmental procedures* Performs duties as instructed/directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager* The role requires flexibility and efficiency which require shift rotation, weekends and holidays work typical of major infrastructure projects, and operating transit systems* Performs additional cross functional job duties as required* Enhances and maintains positive working relationships with internal customers to maximize operational support, credibility and responsiveness. The position is based in Pearl City, HI.Accountabilities:* Handles and manages the O&M Organization's entire warehousing and material distribution functions, including the main storeroom, satellite storerooms* Handles physical distribution of material, tools and equipment throughout the Metro system* Receives and inspects incoming and outgoing material, tools and equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and control of inventory assets throughout an MMIS (Maintenance Management and Information System)* Follows implemented procedures to ensure on-time delivery of material based on such factors as systemwide usage, individual storeroom usage, distribution channels, distribution resources and storage requirements.*
