Waste Handling: Arrange for pickup of waste (hazardous, regulated, universal, TSCA and POL waste, and Regulated Garbage) within 72 hours of receipt of a valid request from generator; maintain agreements, correspondence and schedule with a permitted Treatment, Storage, Disposal Facility (TSDF) for offsite disposal of regulated waste within required time limits; conduct real and personal property preliminary environmental liability assessments of NASA owned property or property that is projected to be transferred to NASA; maintain preparedness to control and remove petroleum and other hazardous materials spills at the CAAs, etc. The on-site Hazardous Waste Coordinator will provide overall coordination and implementation of a comprehensive hazardous waste program including regulated and hazardous waste management for waste streams including hazardous waste, other regulated waste, used tires, and TSCA waste generated including waste construction and demolition in accordance with 40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 61, 260 through 279, and 761.
