Members of UC Health include: UC Medical Center, West Chester Hospital, University of Cincinnati Physicians and UC Health Ambulatory Services (with more than 900 board-certified clinicians and surgeons), Lindner Center of HOPE and several specialized institutes including: UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute and the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center. The Patient Monitor must take appropriate action to prevent or reduce the risk of harm to the patient (i.e., limit movement, stopping patient from removing CMU equipment, pulling out IV lines, catheters, etc.) The Patient Monitor must refer to the Suicide Risk policy when caring for a suicide risk patient.
