Participate in scheduled department meetings Fulfill any assigned supervisor duties Provide direct and indirect instruction to all Special Education students Decorate classroom seasonally, scripturally and quarterly Research and share information about best practices in Special Education and Mathematics Create long and short-term goals for students Work collaboratively with other staff and teachers daily Attend the Chapel that is scheduled for your predominant grade level Adhere to specified professional dress code Compile and maintain an up to date substitute folder Secure and straighten up the classroom at the end of each day Must be able to lift 40 pounds and sit or stand for an extended period of time. Spiritual gifts of teaching, discernment, administration, leadership, service, and exhortation Group facilitation skills Attended a four-year program majoring in Special Education, certification and experience preferred Superior communication skills Energetic, motivated, innovative, and prepared An ability to work collaboratively.
