Perform specialized mechanical and/or electrical tests on product components with little or no supervision • Ability to read and complete work orders • Maintain records on work performed, analyze collected data, and report results • Maintain organized workspace, safety practices, and supplies • Act as a trainer/mentor to other employees when assigned • Perform program coordination and other duties as assigned or requested • Travel to various test locations around North America when required to install test equipment, calibrate and inspect vehicle issues. • Diagnosis and repair vehicle electrical and mechanical systems • Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks when required • Perform vehicle safety inspections • Ability to follow detailed and technical procedures • Print, obtain and interpret diagnostic read outs utilizing development software and tools • Must be physically able to perform heavy work such as tire changes, transmission removals, etc.
