Perform field-based nursing work as assigned, including patient home visits, RN assessments or reassessments as appropriate, caregiver supervisory visits, competency assessments, clinical follow-up, patient/caregiver education, and other nursing activities within RN scope of practice and agency policy. The Nurse Educator also supports caregiver and clinical staff education, retraining, and competency development and performs field-based nursing work as assigned by the Director of Patient Services to support patient care, supervision, competency, and operational needs.
